Apollo Steel Industries manufactures a complete range of refractory anchors — V-Anchors, Y-Anchors, S-Anchors, Twist-Lock Anchors, Spiral Anchors, Hex-Mesh Anchors and Bullhorn Anchors — in Stainless Steel SS 304, SS 309, SS 310 and Nickel-Chromium Alloys such as Inconel 601. We also supply Ceramic Anchors for extreme temperature and highly corrosive furnace atmospheres where metallic anchors are unsuitable. Every anchor is manufactured to the specified lining thickness, spacing and hot-face temperature with complete material traceability.
The most common refractory anchor type, known for superior holding power in castable and brick linings. Manufactured to penetrate 75–85% of lining thickness, V-Anchors are suited for furnace walls, roofs and ducting subject to high mechanical load.
Three-pronged anchors that allow the refractory lining limited freedom to move, accommodating thermal expansion and contraction during heat-up and cooldown cycles without cracking the lining or overstressing the anchor.
Wedge Anchors are specially designed to provide secure reinforcement for refractory castable linings in high-temperature industrial equipment. Their wedge-shaped design offers excellent holding strength, minimizes lining movement during thermal expansion, and enhances the durability of furnaces, kilns, boilers, reactors, and incinerators.
Cup-shaped metal disks mounted on a stud or threaded rod and capped with a ceramic fiber washer, purpose-built for securing ceramic fiber blanket and module linings under compression.
Coil-formed anchors offering a large surface area for gripping castable refractory, well suited to curved shells, transition ducts and cyclones where standard anchor geometry is difficult to weld.
A continuous grid of hexagonal cells welded to the shell and filled with refractory, providing a complete anchoring system rather than individual anchors. Ideal for severe erosion conditions such as FCCU cyclones and transfer lines.
